Job Description

Our client, an experiential agency in northeast Dallas, has an immediate need for a 3D Artist. This ONSITE role starts in a contract capacity as soon as we've identified the ideal candidate, and will continue (40 hours per week) with the intention of converting to a full-time, salaried position with comprehensive benefits.

The 3D Artist is responsible for creating and rendering high-quality 3D visualizations and models based on client specifications. This role supports the production team across all programs by transforming conceptual ideas into compelling, realistic 3D assets that align with project requirements and timelines.

3D Artist Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for gathering and translating project details, project purpose, creative expectations, etc.
• Determine appropriate assets through direction or interpretation of client / project needs
• Model new assets and source existing 3D assets using pre-built internal asset library as well as external sources (3Dwarehouse.com, freecad.com, grabcad.com, turbosquid.com, Hum3d.com, CGtrader.com)
• Apply client artwork to models and make refinements to ensure proper alignment and aesthetics
• Produce renders in 1080p or 4K quality, adhering to project requirements and resolution standards
• Submit renders to the Production Director for initial review
• Implement internal and client feedback into revised versions and ensure timely delivery for approvals

3D Artist Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in 3D modeling and rendering
• Proficiency in Blender, Rhino3D, or similar 3D software
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
• Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to interface directly with clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
