Job Description

A DineAmic barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverage products while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves operating coffee equipment maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and ensuring each guest has a positive experience.

This is an hourly tipped position.

Essential Responsibilities Duties

• Prepare espresso-based drinks brewed coffee teas and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards (using a manual espresso machine)
• Take customer orders accurately and make menu recommendations
• Handle transactions using POS systems and process payments
• Restock ingredients cups lids condiments and merchandise
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly efficient service
• Regularly clean equipment counters and work areas
• Maintain a clean organized well-stocked café
• Additional duties as needed withing the scope of the role

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 1 years of experience as a barista
• Certification: Current SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Physical Demands Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand for long period od time walk bend and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions including mixing stirring and pouring
• The position requires flexibility to work early mornings
• Must be able to move safely through kitchen area including slick floors and tight spaces.
