Job Description

We are seeking reliable Cleaners for a short-term project to clean an empty, closed-down warehouse. This role involves industrial-level cleaning using warehouse cleaning equipment to prepare the facility for future use. Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in large industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and deep cleaning of an empty warehouse facility, including floors, walls, loading dock areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and remove debris from large open areas and walkways.
• Operate warehouse cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, industrial vacuums, sweepers, and pressure washers.
• Collect and dispose of trash, dust, and leftover materials in designated areas.
• Spot clean stains, spills, and buildup on concrete floors and surfaces.
• Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns to the site supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Cleaning and janitorial skills.
• Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing equipment for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance for the full 5–7 day project duration.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
