The Position: Customer Experience Systems & AI Specialist (Entry-Level)
Location: HQ - Chicago, IL (On-Site)
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a systems-minded, tech-savvy team member to help optimize and scale our customer experience through smarter use of tools, automation, and AI. This role sits at the intersection of customer support and data - ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, analyzing trends, and improving the customer journey through improving how our existing platforms work together.
What You’ll Do:
Manage and respond to customer inquiries, supporting all channels of communication
Optimize and maintain CX tools including Gorgias, Shopify, NetSuite, Loop, etc.
Build and improve automations (macros, rules, workflows, tagging systems)
Identify inefficiencies in current CX workflows and implement scalable solutions
Leverage AI tools to enhance customer responses, routing, and internal processes
Support brand initiatives by ensuring systems are set up to execute (campaigns, promos, events)
Monitor CX performance and proactively suggest system or process improvements
Assist in managing integrations between platforms and troubleshooting issues
Requirements:
0–2 years experience (internships count)
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas required)
Analytical mindset (comfortable working with data sets)
Familiarity with Shopify (preferred)
Exposure to Gorgias or CX platforms (nice to have)
Exposure to APIs, integrations, or tools like Zapier/domo
Some experience with AI tools and automation
Strong communication + problem-solving skills
