Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Event Setup Staff to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the successful execution of various events. As part of our event setup crew, you will be responsible for preparing venues by arranging furniture, setting up stages, audio-visual equipment, decorations, and ensuring that all materials are in place before the event begins Responsibilities:

  • Unload and transport event equipment, furniture, and materials to the designated venue areas.
  • Assemble and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other structures according to event layouts.
  • Set up audio-visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and lighting.
  • Decorate event spaces with banners, signage, flowers, and other decorative elements as specified.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines and venue regulations are followed during setup.
  • Coordinate with event managers and other staff to address last-minute changes or requirements.
Requirements
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in event setup or related roles is preferred but not required.
