Step into a day where your expertise keeps production moving

You start by scanning dashboards for safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and service metrics. A line call comes in—machines are down. You arrive with schematics in hand, isolate the fault, update prints, and restore operations. Before lunch, you re-route conduit for a new piece of equipment and connect power. Later, you tweak PLC ladder logic to stabilize a control loop. By shift end, you've closed work orders, logged root causes, and captured every change in the drawings.

What you'll make happen

• Consistently meet targets for safety, quality, production output, efficiency, and internal service
• Follow all safety practices, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair issues across electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment
• Interpret and produce wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Work across power and control systems, plus pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure instrumentation
• Program and debug PLCs using basic and ladder logic
• Design simple analog/digital circuits and configure microprocessor-based hardware/software
• Install, service, and repair wiring, conduit, and plant electrical equipment
• Terminate and connect power feeds to machinery and equipment
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement durable corrective actions
• Accurately document work orders, breakdowns, and equipment modifications
• Revise schematics to reflect as-built system changes
• Plan and route wiring for new installations and upgrades
• Assemble and bench-test electrical components prior to install
• Tackle complex, non-routine electrical problems, including power-quality disturbances

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 5+ years repairing and diagnosing electrical equipment or industrial machinery, or a comparable blend of education and training
• Fluency reading and creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with basic and ladder logic
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Advanced understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation
• Strong grasp of industrial controls along with related mechanical systems
• Experience with microprocessor hardware and software configurations
• Capability to perform foundational analog and digital circuit design
• Exceptional troubleshooting ability and analytical problem-solving
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors
