Adelphi is seeking an Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Specialist to provide mobility and orientation services to students with visual impairments and severe disabilities in Missouri school settings. The O&M Specialist will deliver services aligned with student IEPs using an integrated, functional approach.

Requirements
• Certification as an Orientation & Mobility Specialist (ACVREP or equivalent)
• Experience with students with visual impairments and severe disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs and IDEA
• Strong interpersonal and instructional skills
Responsibilities
• Provide direct O&M instruction per IEP goals
• Teach safe navigation and environmental awareness skills
• Collaborate with staff to support student independence
• Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Participate in meetings and staff consultations
• Ensure compliance with safety and school policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
