DATTCO's Accelerated Property Management Division has an opening for a Painter in New Britain, CT.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, cleaning, and applying primer
  • Select and mix paints to match colors and textures
  • Safely operate painting equipment and tools
  • Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a painter
  • Ability to climb ladders safely
  • Proficiency in operating man lifts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of building and facilities maintenance practices is a plus
  • Painting techniques and processes
  • Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good physical condition and stamina to handle manual labor
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Valid driver's license
