Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Supervisor II in the Office of Cannabis Policy, of the Policy and Research Division (Division), within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the Analyst II will perform the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical staff services assignments related to policy analysis and formulation. The incumbent will be responsible for policy research and development, rulemaking assistance and tracking, and Cannabis Advisory Committee (CAC) support.

Working Conditions

  1. Please describe your experience researching federal, state, or local policies. If you do not have direct policy-related experience, explain what your research process would entail.

  2. Provide an example of a time when you conducted research to make a recommendation to your supervisor or team. Describe the resources you used, how you evaluated pros and cons, and how you gained support for your recommendation. The research and recommendation do not need to be policy-related.
