As a Security Officer Screener you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a government location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support daily operations through visible presence patrols and strong communication. This is a driving this role you will help promote a welcoming environment respond to security-related concerns and deliver service with the agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity that define Allied Universal.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials process visitors and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and supporting site staff during security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Communicate with employees visitors and/or agency representatives regarding post instructions restricted areas and access requirements while helping to support orderly operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A current tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS/DHS requirements.
  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
