Job Title: Infusion Nurse – Oncology (RN)

Location: Syracuse, NY 13210

Job Type: Contract (Travel or Local)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic clinical team in Syracuse, NY. This role involves administering specialized infusion therapies while also supporting nursing education and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage infusion-related side effects
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs and training materials
• Provide clinical instruction, classroom teaching, and skills-based workshops
• Assess learning needs and deliver tailored education to nursing staff and students
• Track and evaluate staff performance and educational progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align education with clinical practice
• Promote evidence-based practices to enhance patient care outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and educational activities
• Mentor and support nursing staff and students

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology Infusion experience
• Strong clinical background in infusion therapy and oncology care
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License (Primary source verification required)
• AHA BLS Certification

Preferred:

• Experience in outpatient infusion settings
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
